Léo Lirette of Dover passed away at his residence on Friday May 21, 2010 at the age of 74.
 Born on January 12, 1936 in Fox Creek, he was the son of the late Harry Lirette and the late Régina LeBlanc. He worked as a fork cliff operator for Livingston Distribution. He was a member of Golden Age Club of Pré-d'en-Haut.
He is survived by his wife Bernice (Gautreau) Lirette; three daughters, Linda (Robert) Demone of Moncton, Claudette Lirette of Dover and Nancy Ouellet of Moncton; one son, Mike Lirette of Memramcook East, one sister; Florine (Robert) Auffrey of Dieppe; two brothers, Omer Lirette of Moncton and Armand (Rhéaldine) Lirette of Dieppe; three grandchildren Stéphanie, Jason and Tyler; one great grandchild Maxime and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his infant son Claude, two sisters Bella and Vivine and by five brothers Clorice, Yvon, Blair, Paul and Hervé.
Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation in Pre-D'en-Haut on Wednesday May 26 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
